Riviera Housing Trust

Safeheat ran the service and breakdown housing stock for Torbay Borough Council for 15 years, and continued to do so when Riviera Housing Trust took on the Council's 3,000 houses, until they were able to put their own in-house gas engineers in place.

  • We still run their out of hours calls and assist with annual safety checks and response work as required.
  • Through a partnership agreement with RHT we gained principal contractor status on their boiler and heating replacement programme, installing some 900 units within a 3 year timescale.

Westcountry Housing Association

We run a partnership agreement to service and safety check their 1,700 owned properties, alongside installation work including full heating systems and boiler exchanges, gas and oil.

  • Service and safety checks are the main part of the contract, backed by a 24 hour guaranteed breakdown service every day of the year.
  • WHA properties spread from Penzance to Uffculme, so we cover all of Devon and Cornwall for our clients.
  • A long-standing relationship: we have worked with WHA for 20 years.
  • We regularly achieve KPI figures of 99%.

We were awarded a contract with Glow-worm (Service) to cover their breakdowns in busy periods, and our engineers completed an intensive training course to meet their requirements.
